Around the world
The International Commission of Jurists' network consists of 82 autonomous national sections and affiliated legal organisations in 62 countries across Africa, Asia/Pacific, Europe, the Middle East, Latin and North America, and the Caribbean. These national sections and affiliated legal organisations work with the ICJ Secretariat based in Geneva to promote and protect human rights through the rule of law internationally.
On 2 and 3 December 2008, the International Commission of Jurists will hold its World Congress in Geneva, Switzerland. The theme of the Congress will be the Judiciary in Times of Crisis. The event will bring together ICJ Commissioners, Honarary Members, National Sections, and Affiliate Organisations.
