ICJ contribution to Equal Opportunities Commission (EOC) Amicus Brief in Secretary for Justice vs William Roy Leung

The ICJ is submitting the following contribution to an Amicus Curiae brief of the Equal Opportunities Commission (EOC) in the case of Secretary for Justice v William Roy Leung – CACV 317/2005.

The case is to be heard in this Honourable Hong Kong Court of Appeal. The ICJ will address the questions of the rights to equality before the law, non-discrimination and privacy in light of Hong Kong’s obligation under the International Covenant of Civil and Political Rights (ICCPR).
