The ICJ published today a collection of international case-law extracts on migration and international human rights law in Greek.

The publication was launched in the frame of a conference organized by ICJ and GCR in Athens on 15-16 September 2014 and dedicated to the “administrative detention of third country nationals: international legislation and national practice.”

This publication collects international jurisprudence and treaty law dedicated the issues of expulsions, procedures, non-refoulement and administrative detention of migrants and asylum seekers. It allows the legal practitioner to access directly in Greek to international law sources, landmark rulings on international human rights law. The translation is unofficial and we recommend checking against the original text.

The aim of this publication is to be a useful and practical tool for the legal practitioner in his or her every day work. It is also an indispensable tool in trainings and assists in keeping updated on human rights jurisprudence developments. The present compilation is a supplement to the ICJ practitioners’ guide no. 6 on Migration and International Human Rights Law, freely available in English, Greek and Italian on our website.
