The ICJ’s Centre for the Independence of Judges and Lawyers and Avocats sans Frontières (Belgium) released their report on the trial of Huseyin Cangir, a lawyer who has represented Kurdish clients alleging acts of torture by state agents.

The ICJ’s Centre for the Independence of Judges and Lawyers and ASF found that Mr. Cangir’s right to be tried by an independent and impartial tribunal was not respected.
