Article 170 – Terrorist financing.
Any person who by any means, directly or indirectly, provides or collects funds with the intention that they should be used, in full or in part, in order to carry out any of the offences described in articles 163 (Attacks against internationally protected person, 164 (Destruction and other infractions with explosives or other lethal devices), 165 (Acts involving nuclear material), 166 (Violation of air security and security at airports), 167 (Infractions against the safety of ships and fixed platforms), 168 (Hijacking), 169 (Hostage taking) shall be punished by [].
The same penalties apply to any person who, by any means, directly or indirectly, provides or collects funds with the intention that they should be used, in full or in part, in order to carry out any act intended to cause death or serious bodily injury to a civilian, or to any other person not taking an active part in the hostilities in a situation of armed conflict, when the purpose of such act, by its nature or context, is to intimidate a population, or to compel a government or an international organization to do or to abstain from doing any act.
Any person who contributes to the commission of one or more offences as set forth in the previous paragraphs by a group of persons acting with a common purpose shall be punished by [], if such contribution is intentional and is made either with the aim of furthering the criminal activity or criminal purpose of the group, where such activity or purpose invilves the commission of an offence as set forth in the previous paragraph, or is made in the knowledge of the intention of the group to commit an offence as set forth in the previous paragraphs.
Any preparation and attempt to commit such infractions shall also be punished.
Article 171 – Recruitment and supply of weapons
Any person who recruits or supplies weapons and explosives to other persons to take part in the commission of any of the offences set forth in article 170, shall be punished by [].
