Adama Dieng, a Senegalese jurist, has been named Secretary-General of the ICJ, it was announced today in Geneva. Dieng replaces Niall MacDermot who headed the ICJ for 20 years and who retired last month.
Mission of Sir Leslie Munro to Pakistan
The newly-appointed Secretary-General of the ICJ, Sir Leslie Munro, will be visiting Karachi in mid-January in connection with a three-month mission to the Far East.
