Final report on the trial of the president of the Bar Association and three other lawyers

Four Turkish lawyers who were charged with “professional misconduct” for having represented villagers evicted from their homes by Turkish security forces were acquitted on 24 December. The ICJ concludes that the criminal charge amounted to harassment and intimidation of Turkish lawyers.
