On 6 July, the European Parliament endorsed in a resolution the interim report of the “Temporary Committee inquiring into alleged secret detention and rendition by the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) in Europe”. The Parliament also found it likely that certain EU member states were aware of the activities linked to extraordinary renditions on their territory.
