This bulletin marks the anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
The ICJ reiterates its plea to take steps to secure greater respect for and observance of the Declaration’s provisions throughout the world. In collaboration with other human rights NGOs, the ICJ launched a ‘World Campaign for Human Rights’.
This edition contains articles on the aspects of the Rule of Law in:

Racial problems in the public service: report of the British Guyana Commission of Inquiry appointed by the ICJ
At the request of the Government of British Guiana, the ICJ appointed a Commission of Inquiry to investigate and make recommendations in regard to certain problems concerning racial balance in the public services of British Guiana.
