This bulletin was published following the Bangkok Conference. The conference reaffirmed the dynamic aspect o f the Rule of Law. It defined the nature and content of this dynamic aspect and showed how it could and should be utilized in the fields of social and economic development.

This Conference of 105 jurists from 16 countries of the South-East Asian and Pacific Region assembled in Bangkok from February 15th to 19th, 1965, under the auspices of the International Commission of Jurists.

The Declaration has conclusions on:

  2. Economic and Social Development within the Rule of Law
  3. The Role of the Lawyer in a Developing Country
