The ICJ is concerned by the decision of Chief Justice Anthony Gubbay of the Supreme Court of Zimbabwe to retire early from his judicial post at the end of this month, more than one year ahead of his scheduled retirement.

Amnistía Internacional y la CIJ someten a consideración el presente Informe en derecho sobre la incompatibilidad del decreto ley N° 2191 de 1978 con el derecho internacional.
El informe en derecho aborda las obligaciones internacionales del Estado en materia de derechos humanos (Punto I), la obligación de juzgar y castigar a los autores de violaciones a los derechos humanos (Punto II), la incompatibilidad de las amnistías para violadores de los derechos humanos con el derecho internacional (Punto III), el principio depacta sunt servanda (Punto IV) y la no aplicación de la amnistía por tribunales nacionales (Punto V).
