In 1968, the General Assembly has given top priority to the ratification and implementation of international conventions in the human rights field.

This bulletin gives a short survey of the progress that has been made in the adoption, ratification and implementation of the international conventions concluded under the aegis of the UN and its Specialized Agencies.
