Attacks on Justice: the harassment and persecution of judges and lawyers, July 1990 – June 1991
This is the third annual report by the ICJ’s Centre for the Independence of Judges and Lawyers cataloguing the harassment and persecution of judges and lawyers worldwide.
Poder judicial y democracia
Del 20 al 23 de noviembre de 1989 se efectuó en Lima, Perú, el evento internacional “Poder Judicial y Democracia” organizado conjuntamente por la Comisión Andina de Juristas (CA) y la Comisión Internacional de Juristas.
El evento permitió analizar aspectos cruciales referidos a la problemática de la administración de justicia, vista ésta no sólo como un servicio público esencial sino, ante todo, como una pieza fundamental de lo que constituye el Estado Democrático de Derecho.
Se discutieron los siguientes siete temas:
- Aproximación a la realidad de la administración de la justicia en el Perú
- El estándar internacional sobre independencia de jueces y las garantías de la administración de justicia
- Poder judicial y Estado de derecho: Brasil, Chile y España
- Ministerio público, administración de justicia y derechos ciudadanos
- Autonomías regionales y admistración de la justicia
- Libertad individual, administración de justicia y estado de derecho en América Latina
- Terrorismo y represión penal
