In a letter addressed to the Minister of Justice of Turkey, the Centre for the Independence of Judges and Lawyers (CIJL) of the ICJ condemned yet again the manifestly unfair proceedings in the re-trial of Kurdish former parliamentarians, Leyla Zana and three others.
Furthermore, the defendants’ continued detention amounts to a violation of the right to liberty and security.
