Extra-territoriality
34. —(1) Every person who, outside Singapore, commits an act or omission that, if committed in Singapore, would constitute an offence, an abetment of an offence, or a conspiracy or attempt to commit an offence under section 3, 4 or 5 (see below for these points) is deemed to commit the act or omission in Singapore and may be proceeded against, charged, tried and punished accordingly.

(2) Where an offence under section 6 or 8 (see below for these points) is committed by a citizen of Singapore in any place outside Singapore, he may be dealt with in respect of that offence as if it had been committed within Singapore.
