3. The Committee welcomes the following legislative and institutional steps taken by the State party:
(a) The signing of the Comprehensive Peace Accord in 2006;
(b) The adoption of the interim Constitution in 2007;
(c) The introduction of a third gender in various official documents, including citizenship certificates, pursuant to the Supreme Court judgment of 21 December 2007;
