C. Discrimination
50. Despite the legal prohibition of discrimination with respect to housing, investigations into social and private housing in Canada reveal the persistence of discrimination against some groups, including on the basis of race, country of origin, sex, age, marital status, family status, sexual orientation, disability and social condition (including poverty and reliance on social assistance).[1]
