U.N. member states should move quickly to establish a stronger human rights body as recommended by U.N. Secretary-General Kofi Annan, 15 leading human rights organizations said today.
The ICJ welcomes the report to the United Nations General Assembly issued this week by Secretary-General, Kofi Annan: “In larger freedom: towards development, security and human rights for all.”
Today, the ICJ intervened at the session of the Sub-Commission on the Protection and Promotion of Human Rights.
