The African Commission on Human and Peoples’ Rights has decided to study whether to draw up guidelines on terrorism and human rights at its session in November/December. Interights and the ICJ had submitted a joint document calling on the Commission to draft such guidelines and monitor national counter-terrorism measures in the region.
