UK: Parliamentary Committee calls for closure of Guantánamo Bay

On 21 January, the House of Commons’ Foreign Affairs Committee released a report based on its visit to Guantánamo Bay, calling on the UK Government to work with the US to develop an alternative to the Guantánamo Bay detention centre and to speed-up its closure.
