La Commission Internationale de Juristes est une organisation non gouvernementale et non politique dotée d’un statut consultatif auprès du Conseil économique et social des Nations Unies, de l’UNESCO et du Conseil de l’Europe.

Son siège social est situé à Genève, Suisse. Son appui lui vient de juges, professeurs de droit, praticiens du droit, membres de la communauté juridique et leurs associations.
