The UN’s Committee on Non-Governmental Organisations revoked the Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) consultative status of the Khmers Kampuchea-Krom Federation (KKF). This was despite the presentation of an open letter by NGOs to the Member States of ECOSOC writing to express strong support for the continuation of the special consultative status with the UN granted to the KKF.
