Ce qu’il faut savoir de la Commission Internationale de Juristes

Le document donne un aperçu des objectifs, l’organisation et la composition, les origines et l’évolution, les travaux ainsi que l’organisation financière de la CIJ.

De la Conclusion : “C ’est en prenant conscience de leurs responsabilités et des liens d’interdépendance qui les unissent que les juristes du monde entier sentiront qu’ils appartiennent à cette communauté spirituelle que la Commission s’efforce de créer. En tant qu’organisation non gouvernementale et non politique, elle offre l’occasion d ’échanger des vues et d’examiner des opinions qui ne traduisent pas nécessairement l’attitude officielle d’un gouvernement ou d’une autorité quelconque. Tous les amis de la Commission, tous ceux qui la soutiennent, se sentent ainsi entièrement fibres d’aborder sans préjugés des points de vue étrangers et de contribuer à leur tour à ce précieux courant d ’idées qui, ne connaissant de frontières ni naturelles ni artificielles, représente le plus solide espoir de faire naître entre les nations une compréhension durable.”
