Two members of the Eminent Jurists Panel on Terrorism, Counter-terrorism and Human Rights, appointed by the ICJ, concluded today the hearings and consultations for the Middle East region held in Cairo.
The ICJ today began a five-day high-level mission to Zimbabwe to investigate into the facts and law surrounding the recent reports of the arrest, detention and beatings of lawyers and human rights defenders.
The Eminent Jurists Panel on Terrorism, Counter-terrorism and Human Rights, appointed by the ICJ in October 2005, is holding a public hearing in Cairo on 4-5 June.
