In a 28-page report released today, the ICJ called on the Nepali Government and the House of Representatives to make 19 changes to the draft Army Act, which is currently being considered by parliament.
The ICJ today released an open letter addressed to the President of Sri Lanka regarding the Select Committee of Parliament for the Investigation of the Operations of Non-governmental Organisations and their Impact.

The open-letter was signed by personalities and organizations from all around the world to suport the adoption of this text by the Human Rights Council.
In a legal memorandum addressed to the Guatemalan Congress, the ICJ concludes that, if approved in their current form, the draft laws would entail a significant step back in the fight against impunity in Guatemala. Therefore, the ICJ called on the legislators to introduce a number of key reforms to the draft laws to make them compatible with Guatemala’s international human rights obligations.
