NJCM, the Dutch section of the ICJ, as part of a coalition of Dutch NGOs, made written submissions to the Human Rights Council on the Universal Periodic Review of the Netherlands.
The submission addressed the legal status of UN human rights instruments in Dutch law; the role of the Netherlands in setting international human rights law standards; issues in reporting under UN human rights treaties; national processes for assessing compliance with human rights; gender policy and mainstreaming; counter-terrorism policy; rights of aliens; and rights to health and education.

The International Commission of Jurists (ICJ) has compiled a document on the application of procedures and mechanisms of the UN Human Rights Council.
It outlines its interpretation of the way in which the Council’s institutional architecture must function in order to ensure the Council can fulfill its mandate to protect and promote human rights worldwide.

La CIJ presentó un amicus curiae ante el Tribunal Constitucional en el proceso de inconstitucionalidad en trámite ante dicha corte sobre la ley que creó la Agencia Peruana de Cooperación Internacional.
En su escrito, la CIJ analiza uno de los supuestos de infracción previstos para las organizaciones no gubernamentales: aquel relativo a la orientación de los recursos de la cooperación internacional hacia actividades que afecten el orden público o perjudiquen la propiedad pública o privada. La CIJ analiza la compatibilidad de dicho artículo con el derecho internacional de los derechos humanos, en particular el derecho de libre asociación.
