This is the Report of a Mission sent by the ICJ’s Centre for the Independence of Judges and Lawyers to Turkey. The Centre for the Independence of Judges and Lawyers is dedicated to promoting and protecting the independence of judges and lawyers throughout the world.
Since its independence in 1945, the development of the Indonesian legal system has been heavily influenced by the philosophies and aspirations of the nation’s first two presidents, President Soekarno and President Soeharto.
